Mary and I trained together way way back and after qualifying in 1988 our group went off to various posts all over the place. So after losing touch, Mary and I began working together on J1 then H4 several years ago. I always admired Mary's ability to stay calm in times of stress on the ward, and when the going got tough she kept on smiling and carried on. Mary showed gentleness and compassion to her patients and their families and will be deeply missed by her work colleagues. A beautiful soul - rest now Mary.
