Mary's Godmother [June Fish] gave her some money and told her to spend it on something 'spiritual'. So she booked this week as an opportunity to learn more. She cycled there (Carnforth, near Lancaster) & had planned to cycle home at the end of the week or take the train.
It was there she meet Duncan who offered her a lift in his car as he was heading back to Manchester. Tentatively she accepted, and although he gave her his phone number when they got back to Manchester but she never rang him!!
