One evening, not long after we were married, I went out for the evening. When I returned I found Mary all flustered. Eventually she confessed what she had done.
Outside the block a group of kids had been playing and making a noise for a long time, and it eventually got on Marys nerves. So she filled a bucket with water, went down the stairs, out the door, round the back to where the kids were and threw the water over them. Unfortunately she hadn't planned her escape very well and when she ran back to the entrance to the flats she realised she needed to get the key in the lock before she got caught by them. She made it, but only just!!
