I worked with Mary at Salford royal on both the old and new urology wards.
She had such a calming and caring nature, with patients as well as her work colleagues.
She would be the one and only person that was still calm and collected when everyone else was stressing out, she used to make me laugh.
"she would say well you know let's just keep calm and carry on"... She was so laid back and took everything in her stride.
she had many stories to tell of her cycling trips and especially the ones where she had bruises to show, from when she had fell of her bike.
I remember she arriving to work one day with grazies on her arm, which she laughed about after telling us she fell off while riding into work,she said she had dusted herself off and carried on and that she was fine just a scratch.
Mary always had a smile on her face and love for everyone around her, she was such an inspiration and I am proud to have worked with her and known her..
mary loved talk about her family and tell us stories, she was always telling us how well Amy and James were doing at school.
